Perinatal and postpartum mental health for mothers

Pregnancy and new motherhood can bring on new mental health challenges caused by fluctuating hormones, sleep deprivation, grieving life before motherhood, and body image disturbances. I work with expecting and new mamas to help normalize the changes in a woman’s mind and body through prenatal therapy.

We explore areas of self-care, identifying areas of support, and strengthening connection with themselves.

When needed, we will work through pregnancy and birth trauma through postpartum therapy.

I am a mother of a young son and empathize with the negative impact pregnancy and motherhood can have on mental health. I am maternal mental health trained through Postpartum Support International (PSI).
